In accordance with Article 214 of the Civil Servants Law No. 657 and the principles of the “Regulation on the Protection of Buildings from Fire” (Decision No. 2007/12937), an “Applied Fire Training and Drill” program was organized for our faculty staff by the University Civil Defense Expertise Office.
During the training program, participants were provided with both theoretical and practical information on proper response methods in case of fire, effective use of fire extinguishers, evacuation procedures, and safety precautions to be taken during emergencies.
In the practical session of the training, staff members had the opportunity to practice the use of fire extinguishers under the supervision of expert trainers. The drill emphasized the importance of acting quickly, consciously, and in coordination during possible fire emergencies.
